Mask Auction '99

The Golden Hour Gala Mask Auction

Artists and celebrities from across the country decorated masks made of paper mache. The masks were auctioned during the Golden Hour Gala fundraiser on October 22, 1999 at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center. The "golden hour" is the first hour after an injury and the most critical time in the care and survival of trauma patients. Proceeds from the Golden Hour Gala Mask Auction supported research and education programs designed to increase the chances of survival and optimum recovery for trauma and burn patients.
